Marathi weddings are simple, sweet, and full of happy moments. They start with the Sakhar Puda (engagement), and on the wedding day, there’s a special moment called Antarpat, where a cloth is placed between the bride and groom before they see each other.

The bride usually wears a Paithani saree, and the groom wears a Mundavalya (decorative string on the forehead). There’s lots of fun, music, blessings from elders, and yummy food too!
